A presentation with no call to action could just be an entertaining event to attend.
When designing your presentation start with the end in mind. What action, what behavioural change, what do you want your audience to do after your presentation?
Many presenters state the presentation outcomes by saying participants will learn x, y and z. What your client wants to know is what will be different in the workplace as a result of your presentation or message.
Remember most organisations want presentations or training to either make them money, save them money or save them time as the final outcome.
How does your presentation measure up? Can you align your topic, your product, service or message to this?
What action do you want your attendees to do after the presentation is over and do you follow up to measure the presentation return on investment?
Happy presenting
